Dialup Setup | Windows 9x

1. Double click the My Computer icon on your Desktop.
2. Double click on Dial-up Networking.
3. Double click on Make New Connection.
4. In the Make New Connection dialogue, type "Your Name" in the Type a name for the computer you are dialling text box, click Next.
5. Type in the Area Code and Telephone Number of the city nearest to you (National POP Access Numbers).
6. Click Next and then Finish.
7. To connect, double click the icon of the newly created dialup connection, add the Username and Password, as supplied to you.  Click Remember Password and Connect.

2. Double click on Control Panel.
3. Double click Network and Dial-up Connections.
4. Double click Make New Connection.
5. The Network Connection Wizard dialogue is displayed. Click Next.
6. Select Dial-up To The Internet. Click Next.
7. Select I want to set up my internet account manually. Click Next.
8. Select I connect through a phone line and a modem. Click Next.
9. Type in the Area Code and Telephone Number of the city nearest to you (National POP Access Numbers). Make sure South Africa is selected in the Country/Region drop down box. Click Next.
10. Type in your Username (e.g. someone@allafrica.net) and Password. Click Next.
11. Type in a Name for your connection (e.g. All Africa Connection). Click Next.
12. Select No under Do you want to set up your internet mail account now? Click Next.
13. Click the Finish button to add your new dialup account.
14. To connect, double click the icon of the newly created dialup connection and click on the Dial button.

1. Click on Start and point to the Control Panel icon on your Desktop.
2. Double click on Control Panel.
3. Double click Network and Dial-up Connections.
4. Double click Make New Connection.
